He became the editor of the Harvard Law Review and was eventually elected president of that legal journal.

He graduated with honors in 1991.

Barack Obama moved to Los Angeles after graduating from high school and attended Occidental College (a private liberal arts college) for two years.
He then transferred to Columbia University in New York City to major in political science.

On January 20, 2009, Barack Obama was inaugurated as the 44th president of the United States.
